Terms of Service
These Terms of Service cover Wild Ledger — that's the game client and website ("Site") — and we're the ones running it ("we", "us", "our"). Think of this as a binding agreement between us and you ("player", "your") about how you can access and use the game. BY ACCESSING OR PLAYING WILD LEDGER, YOU'RE AGREEING TO FOLLOW THESE TERMS AND ALL RELATED POLICIES. IF YOU DON'T AGREE WITH SOMETHING HERE, DON'T PLAY OR ACCESS THE SITE.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
Everything in Wild Ledger is ours — all the game content, mechanics, maps, artwork, code, trademarks, the whole package ("Content"). You don't own any of it. You're just getting a limited license to play. Anything we haven't specifically granted you stays with us. As long as you stick to these Terms, we let you have a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and play Wild Ledger purely for fun. That's it though. You can't modify, copy, spread around, or resell any game content without asking us in writing first.
USAGE RESTRICTIONS
Don't modify, reproduce, encode, or distribute game content unless we've explicitly said you can. Cheats, bots, exploits, automated tools — those are off limits. You also agree not to: violate any laws or these Terms, including data privacy and export regulations; use scraping tools or pull game data in ways that aren't authorized; mess with server operation, overload systems, or get in the way of other players. Account sharing is out. Selling in-game items for real money? Not happening. If you use the game in ways we haven't approved, your access gets cut immediately. We can ban players who break these rules, and you won't get a refund.
EXTERNAL LINKS
We might link to other websites and services. We don't control them and we're not responsible for what's on them. If you follow a link, that's on you. Other sites have their own rules and policies, so read those before you go there.
PLAYER FEEDBACK
We love hearing about bugs, balance issues, and gameplay ideas. When you send us feedback about Wild Ledger ("Feedback"), you're giving us the rights to use it however we want, and we don't owe you anything for it. You're also confirming that what you're telling us is yours and doesn't step on anyone else's rights.
PRIVACY
Our Privacy Policy handles your personal data — consider it part of these Terms. By playing Wild Ledger, you're okay with how we handle your information as described there.
CHANGES AND UPDATES
We can modify, suspend, or shut down Wild Ledger or any part of it whenever we want, without warning. Game mechanics, balance, content, or these Terms themselves might change at our discretion. If you keep playing after something changes, that means you accept the new Terms.
INDEMNIFICATION
You're responsible for defending Wild Ledger, our developers, publishers, and affiliates against any third-party claims that come from how you use the game, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or someone else's rights. You'll cover all the costs, legal fees, and damages from those claims.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY
Wild Ledger comes as-is, as-available. We don't promise it's bug-free, always running, or perfect. Procedurally-generated maps sometimes glitch. We're not making any warranties at all — not about accuracy, ownership, infringement, being fit for sale, or working for what you want it to do. If you're going to rely on information from the game, check it independently first.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
WE'RE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DATA LOSS, GAME DOWNTIME, OR ACCOUNT SUSPENSION. WE DON'T TAKE LIABILITY FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST MONEY OR DATA, EVEN IF WE KNEW IT MIGHT HAPPEN. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM CAPS OUT AT USD $50.00. IF A LIMITATION IN THESE TERMS DOESN'T WORK UNDER YOUR LOCAL LAW, THAT ONE LIMITATION DOESN'T APPLY, BUT EVERYTHING ELSE STAYS IN PLACE.
GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
THESE TERMS FOLLOW THE LAW WHERE YOU LIVE. SOME PLACES DON'T ALLOW CHOICE OF LAW CLAUSES — IF THAT'S YOU, YOUR LOCAL LAW GIVES YOU EXTRA RIGHTS ANYWAY.
MISCELLANEOUS
This agreement replaces anything we said before. If we find out a part of these Terms can't be enforced, we'll change just that part slightly to comply with the law while keeping the spirit of it intact. The rest stays valid. We're allowed to pass these Terms on to someone else if we want, but you can't do that. If we don't enforce something one time, that doesn't mean we won't enforce it later. No third party gets rights from this agreement.
